Booking & Calendar
Online booking, scheduling, cancellations, no-shows, and parties.
Can I take card-on-file deposits and charge no-shows automatically?
Yes. Studios can configure whether a booking requires a card, deposit, temporary card hold, late-cancel fee, or no-show fee. Exact amounts, windows, and capture behavior are studio-specific and must be shown to the client before confirmation. Auto-charge behavior follows the policy snapshot attached to that booking and the no-show or cancellation status set in the calendar.
PermalinkDoes Bronzly offer memberships and recurring billing?
Yes, on Pro and Studio plans. Studios can configure membership tiers, recurring billing, included sessions, cancellation behavior, and public visibility according to their policy. Any rollover, commitment, pause, cancellation, or redemption rule should be disclosed in the studio's client-facing membership terms before purchase.
PermalinkDoes Bronzly handle payroll and timeclock?
Yes, on Pro and Studio plans. Features include clock-in/out, timesheets, commission rules editor (per-service, per-staff, tiered), and exportable payroll reports. Bronzly does not file payroll taxes — most studios export to Gusto, ADP, or QuickBooks Payroll for tax filing. Commission tracking ties directly to the booking ledger so revenue splits are automatic.
PermalinkCan I book a spray tan party or group event?
Yes — many Bronzly studios offer group party booking through a dedicated party booking page. Groups of 4+ commonly receive a per-person discount of 10–20%. Bridal parties, prom groups, and bachelorette events are the most common. Each guest receives their own confirmation, prep instructions, and rinse reminder via SMS. The host pays at booking and guests can split the bill if the studio enables it.
PermalinkHow do clients cancel or reschedule a booking?
Clients tap their appointment in the app and select Cancel or Reschedule, or use the link in their SMS/email confirmation. Cancellation rules — including any late-cancel or no-show fees — are set per studio and shown at booking and in the confirmation. Clients can also contact the studio directly through the app.
PermalinkHow do I set up my service area and routing as a mobile artist?
Go to Settings → Service Area. Turn on "I'm a mobile artist (I travel to clients)", then set your home base address — this is the point every trip is measured from. Add your service radius so clients outside it can't book a travel appointment, and set a drive buffer (minutes between appointments for travel) so back-to-back bookings leave you time to get there. Optionally set a per-mile travel fee or travel-fee policy. Once saved, Bronzly uses these to offer route-aware time slots and to keep your day's stops in a sensible order. You can adjust any of it later, and you can also run both a fixed studio and mobile service at the same time.
