Rapid Tan

High-DHA spray tan solution that develops in 1–4 hours instead of 8.

A rapid tan (sometimes called express tan or quick-rinse tan) is a spray tan formulated with higher DHA concentration (typically 10–14%) so the bronze color develops faster than the traditional 8-hour solution. Clients can rinse in 1–4 hours instead of overnight, making it ideal for last-minute events, lunch-break appointments, or clients who can't sleep in a tan. The trade-off is slightly faster fade — rapid tans typically last 5–7 days versus 8–10 days for classic. The artist sets the rinse window at checkout based on the desired depth: 1 hour = light, 2 hours = medium, 3 hours = dark, 4 hours = darkest. Bronzly's automated rinse-reminder feature handles the SMS to the client at the exact rinse window, suppressed during quiet hours. Rapid tan accounts for roughly 28% of all spray tan bookings on the Bronzly platform, with classic 8-hour at ~55%.
