Native iOS + Android Client App — Included on Every Plan
Your clients book through a real native app — not a web page in an icon. That single distinction is the difference between push reminders that arrive, loyalty balances clients actually see, and one-tap rebook flows that turn into bookings instead of abandoned tabs.
What clients get
Book + reschedule in three taps
Saved payment method, saved address, saved preferred appointment type. Repeat clients rebook in three taps total. New clients complete intake in under two minutes — including Fitzpatrick capture and special-occasion notes.
Push notifications, native
Appointment reminders, rinse reminders, rebook prompts, loyalty milestone alerts — all delivered through native iOS and Android push. No SMS carrier filtering. No rate limits. No "are you receiving my texts?" calls.
Tan history at a glance
Every prior appointment — date, solution used, depth, photos, artist notes. The client can reference what worked last time before rebooking. Especially valuable for bridal, competition, and event clients who plan months in advance.
Bronzly Gold balance
Loyalty dollars and upgrade credits visible on the home screen. Push alert when a balance unlocks redemption thresholds. One-tap apply at checkout. The loyalty program is only as effective as the client's awareness of it.
Why a generic salon "web app" loses repeat bookings
Most cross-service salon platforms describe themselves as having a "client app." On inspection, the client experience is a mobile-web page in an icon — a PWA at best, a bookmarked link at worst. The gap matters because push notification reliability and home-screen presence drive repeat bookings.
What a PWA / web wrapper can't do well
- — iOS push notifications (Safari PWAs only — limited reliability)
- — Native biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint)
- — Persistent app icon clients actually open
- — Offline access to appointment history
- — Native deep links from SMS or email into specific app screens
The practical consequence: repeat-booking conversion is meaningfully higher when a push notification reaches the client reliably and a one-tap rebook surface is already on their home screen. PWAs lose to native here, especially on iOS.
Get the app
Your clients install the Bronzly Client App from the App Store and Play Store. Inside the app, they enter your studio code (or follow the deep link from your booking page) to scope the experience to your studio.
Apple App Store
Bronzly Client — App Store listing live for Tan Wolf Studio cohort; broader public release rolling out. If the App Store badge below does not link, the public listing is still pending Apple review.
Google Play Store
Bronzly Client — Play Store listing live for early-access cohort; broader public release rolling out. If the Play badge below does not link, the public listing is still pending Google review.
Until public listing is fully live, clients can also access the same experience as a home-screen install from your branded booking page — and will be automatically upgraded to the native install when it goes public.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bronzly client app a real native app or a web wrapper?
Native, built on Capacitor with native shell extensions for iOS and Android. The app uses native push notifications, native biometric authentication, native haptics, and platform-appropriate UI primitives. It is not a web-page-in-an-icon — clients can install it from the App Store and Play Store and use it offline for booking history.
Do my clients have to download an app to book?
No. The web booking flow stays available at your branded subdomain. Clients who book through the web flow get an opt-in prompt to install the app for push reminders and loyalty access. Most studios see 50% to 70% of repeat clients install the app within the first three months, and repeat clients on the app rebook at a higher rate than web-only clients.
What happens to rebook rates when clients use a native app?
Native apps support push notifications, which are dramatically more reliable than SMS for rebook prompts (no carrier filtering, no two-factor confusion, app icon stays on the home screen). Generic web-based 'apps' (PWAs sitting in an icon) do not have the same push reliability, especially on iOS. Studios moving from web-only to native client apps typically see a meaningful rebook lift within 60 days.
Is the app branded to my studio or to Bronzly?
The container app is branded Bronzly (single App Store and Play Store presence to maintain). Inside the app, each studio's experience is fully branded — studio name, logo, colors, photography. Clients see your brand on every screen except the app icon. Empire plan adds the option to white-label the app icon and store listing for established multi-location chains.
Does the app work for the artist too, or only clients?
There are two apps: the Bronzly Artist App (for studio operators — calendar, inbox, client records, checkout, analytics) and the Bronzly Client App (for the studio's customers — booking, history, loyalty, reminders). Both are native iOS + Android, both are included on every plan.
