Rinse Window

The rinse window is the specific time period after spray tan application during which the client should rinse for optimal color depth. Different solutions have different windows: rapid solutions develop in 1–4 hours (the client can choose 1h for light, 2h for medium, 3h for dark, 4h for darkest), classic solutions develop over 8 hours (one fixed window), and overnight solutions develop over 8–12 hours (rinse on waking). Rinsing too early under-develops the tan (washes off DHA before full Maillard reaction); rinsing too late typically does not over-develop in the same way but increases bronzer staining on bedding and clothing. The Bronzly rinse reminder is the only major spray-tan platform feature that schedules SMS to the client at the exact rinse window the artist set at checkout, suppressed during quiet hours so the client isn't woken at 2am.
