Stripe Connect

Stripe Connect is the embedded payments platform that Bronzly uses to process all client payments and route funds to studios. Each studio onboards its own Stripe Express account during Bronzly setup, providing tax ID, bank account, and identity verification directly to Stripe (Bronzly never sees this data). Client payments flow from the client's card to the studio's Stripe balance, with Bronzly automatically deducting the 2.99% platform fee via Stripe's application_fee_amount mechanism. Standard payouts run T+2 business days; Studio, Empire, and Sovereign tiers receive T+1. Studios manage payout schedule, bank changes, and tax forms (1099-K when applicable) directly in their Stripe Express dashboard. Bronzly does not hold client funds at any point — money moves directly from client to studio via Stripe. This architecture is why the 2.99% Bronzly fee is competitive with Square's 2.6% + 10¢ and lower than Booksy marketplace fees.
